Black Lion Caravan and Camping Park has been awarded the
David Bellamy "Gold Award" for Conservation.

Our park is an oasis of conservation.                                  

Black Lion Caravan and Camping Park provides a refuge for wildlife and is

home to many different wild flowers, ferns and trees.

Well thought-out environmentally friendly intentions, helps not only the plants

but provides a good habitat for a large variety of birds large and small. 

This is also Kite country and they can be seen at times circling the sky, Buzzards

and Hawks are frequent visitors. Llyn Llech Owain is just down the road.

We have rabbits and foxes and many smaller animals, living on our 12 acre site.

Many different butterflies frequent our buddleia. 

The pond and lake are home for all sorts of wild life, from Dragon flies to

sticklebacks and water skaters. 

At night you can see Bats and moths.

The stars in the sky can be clearly seen on a good night as there is very little light pollution.
